company7

Company7, formerly The Seacoast Dancers, is a pre-professional dance team that was formed to provide aspiring dancers with an opportunity to take their dance training and experience to the next level. The team consists of young women and men with similar interests who come together to learn, rehearse, and perform in a supportive and fun environment. The team becomes a family, building relationships and memories that last a lifetime.

competitions

Competitions are a fun and motivating way for the team to perform in front of large audiences, including friends/family and judges for professional feedback. Company7 participates in approximately 5-6 regional competitions and conventions from late January through early May and one national competition in June or July.

training

Company7 dancers are required to take two ballet classes per week and train in the styles of dance they compete in. All team members must be enrolled in summer dance classes. Choreography sessions are scheduled separately, typically between July and October. Rehearsals are built into the Studio 7 weekly schedule on Fridays, though extra weekday or weekend rehearsals may be called.

“Being a member of the Seacoast Dancers has truly been the best decision for our daughter! Not only has she become a wonderful dancer and made lasting friendships, she has learned important life lessons. She has learned to balance her time with school and dance, set goals, understand priorities as well as the importance of being organized and prepared. Most importantly, she has learned to believe in herself and that hard work and effort pay off. The Seacoast girls and teachers are a second family to her!”

“Being eleven years old when having to start looking [for a new dance studio] was not easy and Gianna wasn’t sure she would feel apart of the team or the family in a new place. When walking into The Dancer’s Workshop and auditioning for Seacoast Dancers it was not like that at all. The teachers and the girls welcomed her with open arms and she fit right in. She knew that it was the perfect fit for her almost instantly. These past two years have been life changing for Gianna. She has grown tremendously as a dancer, is educated by incredible teachers and choreographers and has learned to work as a team to better herself and her teammates. She is taught how to care for her body, how to be focused and goal oriented and how to work hard. She loves the competition team and is so excited for the future of her teammates and herself as dancers.”

“Erin Pasko has taken her love and passion for dance and has done an amazing job with the award-winning Seacoast Dancers team. My daughter has been lucky enough to be a part of the team for three competition seasons. The Seacoast team has been a family to her and the studio has been her second home. Erin Pasko is talented, professional, and enthusiastic about teaching her love of dance to all her students. My daughter is eager to go to class and has loved every minute of her experiences on the Seacoast Dancers. I highly recommend Erin Pasko as a teacher, coach and owner of Studio 7, home of the Seacoast Dancers.”
